Alan Johnson has been performing for over 35 years in almost every kind of arena and venue imaginable. His comedy/juggling act has been seen at the Renaissance Festival, in comedy clubs in NY and LA, colleges, trade shows, cruise ships, churches, schools and has been enjoyed across the country and around the world. He began his career in the Twin Cities and then spent 14 years living and working in the Los Angeles area. Here’s a brief overview of his credits. As an actor, he’s appeared at the Guthrie Theatre (Minneapolis) and at many other theatres across the country. Alan’s talents have been used in numerous commercials and youth-oriented programs such as: Hanna-Barbera’s “Greatest Stories of the Bible,” PorchLight Entertainment’s “Jay Jay, The Jet Plane,” TLC’s “McGee & Me” and “Secret Adventures,” the WorldWide Pictures film “Come The Morning,” and the Focus on the Family film “The Last Chance Detectives.” He can also be heard as the voice of the vulture opposite Eddie Albert in the animated series “Spiderman.” Film and television credits include: “Heat Wave,” “The Babe,” “Far North,” the TV series “Night Court” and the hit NBC series “ER.” In doing his comedy/juggling/unicycle act for many years, he had the memorable chance to work with the legendary George Burns. Alan’s performance is clean, hilariously funny, and can be enjoyed by any audience and adapted to any product or occasion. He also has done a number of spokesperson and M.C. jobs for corporations and trade shows should you ever have that need. Alan was even the mascot for the Minnesota Twins, “Twinkie the Loon.” In Boy Scouts, Alan has been awarded the Order of the Arrow and has achieved their highest award, that of Eagle Scout.
